Welcome to the Nest!

We are a joint unit comprising of two classes, the Swifts and the Starlings. We have 15 children between both classes with a range of different needs. 

As a unit we work together to provide a supportive environment for your child to thrive. We follow a practical experiential curriculum with an emphasis on developing core skills in the following areas:

• Communication
• Cognition
• Physical Development.
• Personal Care and independence

The staff in the Nest consists of three teachers; Kerry, Hannah and Fay. 

Kerry will be in class on Thursdays and Fridays, Hannah will be in class on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Fay will be in class on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. 

We then have a team of Teaching Assistants and Healthcare Assistants who will be in class daily. These are; Karlene, Celia, Rachel, Erin, Sarah and Ashleigh. As well as our lunch time organisers; Christine, Jody, Jo and Katy.
