Student Council

At Ashgate, pupil voice lies at the heart of our school and the curriculum and opportunities we offer our pupils mean that pupils grow into independent, active and responsible members of our school community. At Ashgate we have our very own Student Council, where one child per class is chosen, or elected each year to be the representative of their class. The Student Council is a vehicle for pupil voice and provides a platform where pupils voices can be heard and they can have an impact on decisions which are being made. The Student Council also co-ordinates all fund-raising activities in school, such as local foodbank collections, Pride coffee mornings and Children in Need.
