Lesson: Communication, Language and Listening

Class: Puffins Year: 2023 - 2024

Everyday we have Attention Autism before we start our work. It is a great way of gaining shared attention and focus with the children. Molly sings the bucket songs and pulls out 3 exciting items relating to what work we will do next. We then look at each item individually and take it in turns having a close look before moving on. We are now working on getting to stage 2 which is watching an activity, soon we will be working on stage 3 which is shared engagement in an activity.
