Music With Beth

Class: Puffins Year: 2023 - 2024

This term the Puffins have been lucky to have music with Beth. They have been developing their listening and attention skill during rhythm train and copying saying 'all aboard'. They have also enjoyed listening to Beth play the flute and having some intensive interaction with her during this part of the session. The group have done some brilliant turn taking when singing hello and practicing strumming the guitar. Additionally, they have developed their listening skills in the lycra game, listinging to one word instructions of pat, pull or hide. The group have developed confidence in using different musical instruments and listening to each ones sound. As the weeks have progress Puffins have shown a high level of engagement during the sessions with children engaging with new instruments and remaining at the session for the full 30 minutes.
